I am a stay-at-home
mother of two beautiful children, who are the light of
my life. I have been married for 24 years. While I miss
my former job as an asst. office manager, I now have the
full time responsibility of caring for my two young
children.
I have always been a
creative person, who enjoys reading, photography and
cross-stitching. My favorite authors include Jane Austen, Lucy
Maud Montgomery and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Cross-stitching is
a passion and most projects, whether big or small, are framed
and given a place of prominence in our home.
I enjoy nature and wish to
impart my love of nature unto my children. We all enjoy spending
time at Smithville Park, Smithville Woods and Smithville Lake,
where we go on leisure nature walks and exploration.
My initiation into digital
scrapping began 10 months ago while searching the internet for
scrapbook ideas for an album I wanted to create for my
daughter. It can be said with out a doubt that I have found my
niche!
I enjoy documenting and
enhancing my life’s memories though creative scrapbook layouts.
I strive to preserve precious everyday events through pictures
and journaling. I am still in the process of discovering my
“style”, but currently enjoy fun, bright and colorful layouts,
as well as vintage. I like to learn and try new techniques and
am always searching for ways to improve my layouts.
While I still paper-scrap,
95 percent of my pages are done digitally. Digital scrap booking
gives me the opportunity to be creative as I explore and
discover what works best for me. If there is something that you
must know about me is that I pour my heart and soul into
everything that I do and you can always expect to receive my
very best effort.
